Happy Baby Brynn

Brynlee has just started smiling when she sees me and I can't get enough.  These are the biggest smiles i've gotten so far so of course I had to grab the camera.  What a cutie!!

They are so sweet to baby B (most of the time).  They both wanted to hold her hands and it was just too cute. 

Guess who else misses you?

Well Dan, I was doing laundry and laid your flight suit down to hang up later..it hadn't been there more than 10 seconds when Cosmo got up from his nap on the other side of the bed to migrate over to your flight suit.  I guess the girls and I are not the only ones who miss you :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Jordan!

On april 2nd our baby J turned 2!  It's amazing how fast 2 years can go by.  Jordan is at such a fun yet challenging age right now.  Not a day goes by that she doesn't make me laugh, make me proud, make me want to just hold her, and also frustrate me beyond belief!  She is talking more and more every day and I love seeing her continue to grow and communicate more and more.  She loves to do everything her big sister does which annoys Callen to no end!  Now that the weather is nice Jordan asks to swing ALL the time, she could sit in the swing for hours and be perfectly content.  She is still my little peanut, she only weighs 22 lbs :)  She still has her beautiful dark skin that makes everyone jealous.  I love that she still gets excited EVERY time she sees Cosmo that cat.  She is beginning to enjoy holding baby Brynlee.   For some reason she calls me Momma even though we have always said Mommy and I love it because it's all her.  She refuses to let me play any show except Dora and then rarely does she ever sit through an episode anymore.  She still wants to be held all the time and gets mad when i'm holding the baby and not her.  If she doesn't get what she wants she stands on her tip toes and arches her back and makes a very high pitched scream.  She throws the biggest tantrums, she literally throws her self onto the ground (which huts) so then she cries even more.  It's one of the hardest things to get her to eat a meal which is probably why she is so petite.  She Loves Loves Loves her binky, it is going to be a bad week when we take that away.

I couldn't imagine a day without my sweet J bird, she makes every day worth it just like my other two girls.  I am one lucky "momma" :)

Squadron Easter Egg Hunt

Callen was with a friend at another easter egg hunt and someone offered to hold Brynlee so I was able to enjoy helping Jordan with her egg hunt.  She was super excited to have her basket but was a little too cautious and refused to let go of my hand at first.  She pulled my hand down with hers to pick up the eggs! After a few she got the hang of it and let go of me so she could hunt.  Here is a video of her after she started noticing the eggs for herself!  I didn't get any pictures inside as I was busy with both girls but from across the room Jordan pointed and said "bunny...big bunny!"  Yes, the Easter Bunny made an appearance at the party.  However as he got closer she clung to me and wouldn't get close enough to say hi.  Later as we were eating lunch, our seats were at the end of a table and as the easter bunny rounded the table by us Jordan started screaming and scrambling onto my lap to get away from him...so, Easter Bunny we're happy to take your eggs but please do not come close!!

First Soccer Day

Callen had her first soccer practice/game last Saturday.  She was great during the practice but wasn't so sure about everyone swarming the ball and getting run into, she stood and watched for a minute and then just walked off the field..guess we have some work to do!  However, she definitely looked cute in her pink shorts/shin guards/ shoes and of course she insisted on taking her own pink soccer ball :)

I'm so glad when daddy comes home...

Early Thanksgiving!

Our friend Seth Howell is leaving for a deployment tomorrow so, we had an early Thanksgiving dinner for him so he didn't feel so left out.  Our friends Mike and Debbie Ward hosted and planned the party and we had a lot of fun socializing with friends and just enjoying some yummy food.  We of course couldn't forget Brandon Cyr (poster) as he is currently deployed.  I'm pretty sure we'll never be able to have a "co-pilot" party again with everyone present.

Never thought that was something we would say to our girls!  Dan has worms for fishing and Callen begs to play with them and talk to them..so funny.  Jordan even wanted in on the action!  (don't worry I disinfected the counter afterwards!)

Feeding the Geese!!

We went down to Mascoutah Lake and fed the Geese.  We couldn't lure them out of the water but the girls still had a lot of fun!
